New Business Development Manager Reporting to the CEO & Head of Client Success/Delivery The Role: You will drive agency growth by bringing in new business, identifying opportunities within existing client base, and strengthening tech partnerships. Sitting across both the Delivery and Commercial teams, you’ll play a key role in aligning our services with client needs through outbound sales, upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account development. You will lead external sales initiatives—identifying qualified leads and building targeted outreach campaigns to grow our pipeline of new clients. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with Client Success Managers to uncover new opportunities within existing retainers and support ongoing client growth. Your time will be split across outbound sales, internal sales strategy, partnership development, and select projects —ensuring seamless delivery and strong client rapport. Success in this role will be measured by increased revenue from existing accounts, new business acquisition, and the growth and engagement of our partner ecosystem. Qualifications & Experience Min 3 years of experience in a sales, account management, or business development role—preferably within a digital or e-commerce agency environment. Demonstrated success in identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities across digital services. Proven experience managing and growing client accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic solution development. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, with Shopify experience highly desirable. Comfortable managing relationships with technology partners, platforms, and third-party vendors. Solid project coordination experience, including timelines, documentation, and commercial tracking. Proficient in managing and maintaining a lead pipeline across outbound and inbound sales activities. Skilled in proposal creation and refining client solutions based on feedback and performance data. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking with the ability to align agency services to client business goals. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Confident presenting to internal stakeholders, tech partners, and clients. Interest or background in digital design, UX, or CRO principles is an advantage.
