ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Estimator to join a high-performing team and contribute to the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across NSW, VIC, and QLD. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in civil construction and a passion for winning work. About the Role: Work on a wide range of civil projects including roads, bridges, earthworks, utilities, and structures Play a key role in preparing competitive, accurate, and timely cost estimates Collaborate with both the pre-contracts and delivery teams to ensure smooth tender transitions Key Responsibilities: Prepare and issue material and subcontractor RFQs, and review incoming quotations Develop accurate cost estimates using a first-principles approach for permanent works Assess labour and plant requirements based on tender programs and project demands Estimate preliminaries in line with construction schedules and engineering inputs Compile and submit complete commercial tenders to clients Review and interpret contract terms to ensure compliance with tender documentation Prepare and present tender handover packages to project delivery teams Gather and analyse project data to support future bids and pricing strategies What You’ll Bring: A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or a related field) 5–7 years of experience in civil construction with a proven record in estimating Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site logistics, and productivity outputs Proficiency with estimating software, ideally Candy CCS Ability to review site conditions, survey data, and technical documentation for pricing accuracy Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style Strong analytical thinking and a proactive, solution-focused mindset Leadership experience and a willingness to support junior team members What’s on Offer: Location: Opportunities available across NSW, VIC, and QLD Salary: $130K–$150K Super (negotiable depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, permanent role Work on diverse and large-scale infrastructure projects Join a respected company with a collaborative, experienced, and forward-thinking team Career development support and long-term progression opportunities APPLY NOW if interested or email marnel.labarosa@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
