Job Description Lead Pega Developer 12 months contract – 2x12 months Extension options! Location – ACT - Hybrid Australian Citizens with ability to obtain Baseline clearance Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Pega Developer for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is an initial 12 months contract with 2x12 months further options to extend based on funding and approval. About the Role: In this role you will contribute to the on-going support and continuous improvement of internally-facing systems built on the Pega Cloud platform, working closely with BAU and project teams as they evolve the existing product. Key duties and responsibilities will include: Design, build, integrate, deliver and document software capability that meets business Perform support functions including pro-actively investigating and resolving issues raised in production applications and track through the relevant service management systems. Work with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts and End Users to translate agile user stories and acceptance criteria into technical designs for iterative implementation and deployment. Design, develop and deploy Pega business process management (BPM) software. Integrate Pega software with a modern web application, web services and databases (such as Vue.js, MuleSoft and Oracle/Postgres databases). Troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks. Document work performed including design and as-built specifications, and contribute to knowledge management practices. Technical skills The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the latest versions of Pega Cloud and 5 years developing in Pega. The Client currently utilises Pega Cloud, Infinity v24 and, using the latest API technology, is integrated with a number of other systems/platforms including AWS Postgres DB and S3 for document storage. Demonstrated experience in Pega 8.8 or Infinity ’23 – Desirable.
