Job Description Lead Pega Developer 12 months contract with 2x12 months extension option! Location – ACT, NSW, VIC Australian Citizens with Baseline Clearance Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Pega Developer for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a July start for an initial 12 months contract, with potential for further extensions! About the Role: In this role, You will lead the technical capability of internally-facing systems built on the Pega Cloud platform and work closely with BAU and project teams as they evolve the existing product. You will have a deep understanding of the Pega platform and have the ability to provide technical leadership, strategic guidance and expert technical recommendations. Main responsibilities include: Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the Pega platform. Develop and enhance Pega applications to improve quality, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide expert-level support for Pega applications, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of issues. Integrate Pega software with modern web applications, web services and databases (such as Vue.js, MuleSoft and Oracle/Postgres databases on AWS infrastructure). Plan and execute platform upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Evaluate and implement new features and functionalities of Pega to keep the platform current and competitive. Conduct thorough testing and validation of upgrades to ensure system integrity and performance. Essential criteria: Demonstrated experience developing in Pega, using agile delivery methodology. Demonstrated experience managing the Pega platform, with particular focus on system optimization, upgrades, and establishing new integration paths/patterns with external systems. Demonstrated experience in Pega Infinity ’24, including Constellation. Demonstrated experience integrating Pega with AWS. Pega Certifications or other qualifications of relevance to the role – Desirable.
