A pivotal role that will drive community and corporate giving to help drive vital cancer research that saves lives! Impact of the Organisation The Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) is the peak national organisation dedicated to advancing research into gynaecological cancers across Australia and New Zealand. With over 1,500 members, including clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, and community advocates, ANZGOG conducts and promotes clinical trials and multidisciplinary research to improve outcomes and quality of life for women affected by these diseases. Operating under the WomenCan brand, ANZGOG's fundraising initiatives aim to support its mission of conducting innovative clinical trials and multidisciplinary research. WomenCan engages the community to fund pioneering discoveries, enabling women with gynaecological cancer to live better and longer lives. Together, ANZGOG and WomenCan are dedicated to transforming the landscape of gynaecological cancer care through research, education, and community engagement. Impact of the Role In this this role, you will take the lead on delivering a portfolio of community fundraising initiatives and corporate partnerships, building strong, meaningful relationships, and driving sustainable income. You’ll work across a broad stakeholder group, from individual fundraisers and local groups to ANZGOG members and partners, to inspire giving and elevate support. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will: Implement a national strategy for community and corporate partnerships. Lead the cultivation of new relationships and actively manage existing connections (in-person, phone, and email) with fundraisers, supporters, and key stakeholders including Team Teal, SME corporate partners, and ANZGOG members. Deliver events and initiatives from concept to completion, managing planning, marketing, logistics and engagement. Create toolkits and resources to support third-party fundraisers and maximise lifetime value. Drive stewardship efforts and donor recognition across multiple touchpoints. Collaborate across communications, research, and clinical teams to develop compelling proposals and showcase impact. Skills and Experience You are a natural relationship professional who brings energy, initiative, and confidence. You naturally connect with people, can drive projects end-to-end and have a genuine passion for building community to create positive change. You’ll also have: Demonstrated experience in community fundraising, corporate partnerships, or similar. Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Confidence in managing events from digital campaigns to in-person activations. Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with stakeholders from grassroots supporters to senior leaders. Familiarity with CRM platforms (Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar) and programs including Campaign Monitor and Fundraisin. A collaborative spirit and commitment to equity, transparency, and impact.
