Duties will include: Management of all incidents, injuries and near misses. This includes conducting investigations, coordinating and attending medical appointments and acting as Return to Work Coordinator Conducting scheduled and impromptu audits, inspections and observations Supporting Site teams to ensure HSE compliant activities on site, at all times Creating, coordinating and delivering toolboxes across a number of projects and sites Regular site visits, including pre-starts, safety walks and inspections Preparing HSE reports and presenting findings and statistics The Developer/Builder Working within this large scale Developer/Builder you will deliver positive safety outcomes within High rise commercial and residential projects - often times with sites of up to 150 workers, delivering works, at one time. You will be part of a team that have developed and built some of the most recognisable buildings across the Melbourne metro skyline - projects often valued between $30M - $150M in value. Are you suitable? We are seeking a HSE Manager who has held a similar role within construction, who has held a position overseeing multiple construction sites at any given time and, importantly, someone who can build a rapport with Site Managers and site teams and ensure positive HSE outcomes. We are looking for someone who is grounded in the commercial construction (vertical) project setting (not civil and infra), with a detailed understanding of the types of construction methodologies and safety risk factors, relevant to these project types. As a minimum, the HSE Manager will need to have a formal HSE qualification, such as a CERT IV (minimum) in HSE.
