About the Role Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Assets and forming part of Parks Victoria's executive leadership team, the Director of Major Capital Works will lead a critical function responsible for delivering large scale capital projects across Victoria's parks and protected places. These projects include upgrades to visitor centres, tracks and trails, marine infrastructure and cultural heritage sites, improving safety, access and the overall visitor experience while protecting environmental and cultural values. This role will oversee all aspects of planning and delivery, applying a robust, risk based framework that matches project approach with complexity and value. The Director will guide a skilled team to operate with high standards of safety, governance and accountability, while fostering a strong culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in strengthening team capability through structured development, coaching and collaboration. About You You are a senior leader with demonstrated success delivering capital works in complex environments involving a broad range of partners and stakeholders. Whether from the public or private sector, you bring strong commercial acumen, sound judgement and deep knowledge of project delivery frameworks.
