We want to ensure all of our site-based personnel are sufficiently trained before they engage in high-risk or specialised tasks. Our trainers also embed Mount Gibson’s values and expected behaviours into their training modules. If you choose to join us, we’ll be asking you to: Deliver training modules in an engaging and compliant manner. Focus on equipment & task-specific procedures training and VOCs. Advise department supervisors and managers on training requirements. Develop tailored training programs as requested. Induct & onboard new personnel. Liaise with 3rd party RTOs. Commit to compliance & record-keeping activities - on a daily basis. Let us know if you identify ways to improve process, systems & workflow. To be considered for this role, we’ll be asking you to bring… ✅ Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Proven experience to confidently deliver training sessions. A working knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to mining sector. Good attention to detail. Well-developed interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and negotiate. Willingness to adapt and respond to change / last-minute requests and operational requirements. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel. It’s not essential but would be advantageous if you have trade or equipment certificates / tickets in Mobile Plant Operation, High Risk Work Licenses, Work at Heights and Confined Spaces.
