The position As Account Manager, you will be required to grow business in existing mining and oil & gas accounts across WA, SA and NT. This role is ideal for an Account Manager or a technically skilled professional with expertise in process and functional safety, or in automation and control. Duties include: Owns and develops the regions assigned to develop and execute account plans and long-term strategy to grow business within assigned customers. Maps out organisations, identifying key decision makers, while developing relationships at all levels. Ownership of the sales cycle, from generating leads to closing the contracts. Work closely with the inside sales team to generate a complaint and a winning proposal. Leverage internal teams, including engineering, product management, proposals, and the bids team. Works on generating value propositions, delivering presentations to clients, and planning targeted marketing events. Ensure full compliance with company policies and consistently perform routine activities such as reporting and CRM updates. Skills & experience required: An Electrical Engineering degree or electrical trade qualification, focused on Industrial Automation and Control, is preferred but not essential. Strong technical knowledge of process and functional safety, or automation and control, is essential. Account management experience and a farmer mentality are highly regarded. Experience using and maintaining CRM systems is highly regarded. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
