The Principal Consultant, Workforce Performance reports to the Executive Manager, Workforce Performance and is responsible for assisting with high-level advice, support, and practical assistance to senior leaders and regional HR practitioners on complex workforce management matters, focusing on early intervention and resolution. Key Attributes Knowledge of employment legislation, workforce frameworks, awards, agreements, policies, and guidelines to develop strategies for managing employment matters and statewide policies. Experience partnering with managers at all levels to provide technical and strategic advice on complex employment issues. Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide solutions for workforce and employee matters. Ability to provide authoritative advice and support capability development among statewide HR practitioners and management to improve employment outcomes. Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Mandatory Requirements May require travel on official business; possession of a C-class driver's license may be necessary.
