Fix Auto Mulgrave is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Service Manager , this role is responsible for carrying out high-quality service and repair work on customer vehicles in accordance with repair orders and dealership standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and test vehicles to identify mechanical issues and complete preventative maintenance. Perform services such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements. Diagnose and repair engine failures, brake issues, gearbox faults, and electrical/mechanical malfunctions. Conduct test drives and make adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Comply with all relevant safety and emissions regulations. Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning and detailing as needed. Record all service and repair activity accurately. Maintain workshop tools and equipment by following operating procedures and performing maintenance. Manage parts and supplies inventory, including ordering and stock verification. Stay current with automotive technologies and best practices through training and reading technical manuals.
