About the role The position is a service focused position supporting the smooth operations and delivery of curriculum in the areas of Food Studies. Key responsibilities focus on stock control; safety; health and hygiene; teacher support; and hospitality. This is a part time, ongoing position Skills and experience To be successful in this position you should demonstrate the following: Good organisational skills and familiarity with food handling regulations and other appropriate procedures. Ability to prioritise a range of tasks and manage time effectively Capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community including students, teachers and parents and the capacity to provide support and/or attendant care to students where necessary. Proven capacity to work effectively in the face of changing priorities and deadlines Capacity to work cooperatively with a range of people including teachers, education support, students and parents, including the ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrated qualifications and skills to support the delivery of Food Technology subjects to a high standard. A commitment to OH&S requirements, commitment to meeting quality standards, and the willingness to update their skills and knowledge on a regular basis.
