The company also provides skilled labour services across WA, supporting construction, fabrication, and mining operations with qualified professionals and supervisors Traineeship Overview Codee Energy is seeking two motivated individuals to join their team as trainees: Trainee Crane Operator Certificate III in Crane Operations Trainee Rigger Certificate III in Rigging These roles offer hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, with structured training and mentoring to help you build a successful career in the heavy lifting and rigging industries. General Duties Crane Operator Trainee (Certificate III in Crane Operations): Operate various types of cranes under supervision Assist with lifting and moving heavy loads safely Perform routine maintenance and safety checks Interpret load charts and lifting plans Work closely with riggers and site supervisors Rigger Trainee (Certificate III in Rigging): Set up and dismantle rigging equipment Secure loads for lifting and transport Inspect rigging gear and ensure compliance with safety standards Assist in crane operations and load management Follow site-specific safety protocols and procedures Ideal Candidate Profile Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Willingness to learn and take direction Good physical fitness and manual dexterity Reliable, punctual, and proactive Ability to work in outdoor and high-risk environments Industry Readiness & Compliance Requirements (Preferred but not essential) Intermediate Rigging Ticket – RI White Card Confined Space Entry Working at Heights Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Rio Tinto Induction – Preferred for some sites Any Crane Ticket HR Driver’s Licence Additional Requirements Must be able to provide a Police Clearance (No Theft / No Assault) Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Remuneration Pay Rate: $42 – $55 per hour (subject to experience) This is a unique opportunity to start a rewarding career with a forward-thinking company that values innovation, safety, and Indigenous leadership in the energy and logistics sectors.
