Job Description Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and results oriented individual to join the City of Albany team in the position of Business Planning & Performance Officer. As Business Planning and Performance Officer, you will coordinate the development, implementation and reporting of the City’s business planning as well as supporting strategic initiatives focused on development and improvement of organisational performance and service delivery. With a background in business planning or public policy, you bring technical skills and a solutions-focused approach to support good decision-making and deliver outcomes for the community. Your skills & experience: Experience coordinating strategic or corporate planning in complex organisations. Understanding of integrated planning and reporting frameworks, ideally in local government. Ability to develop and implement performance reporting systems and meaningful measures. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders. Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and systems like CAMMS or Power BI.
