About the role We are seeking a professional with energy and drive who wishes to join the team in the role of Purchasing Supervisor. In this full time role, you will ensure the smoothest and most efficient operation of the Hotel’s Stores, supporting the operation of the entire hotel. You will be responsible for the following; Review and authorise requisitions and purchase orders Liaise with suppliers regarding order status and discrepancies Monitor the distribution and consumption of goods and services within the Hotel Inventory stock level control and review of par levels Operation of forklift Maintenance & cleanliness of loading dock / stores areas Planning & overseeing monthly stock counts About you Previous stores experience within a hotel environment is desirable Knowledge of Purchase Plus stock control system would be a definite advantage Current license to operate a Forklift Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people within the hotel as well as with suppliers Excellent problem solving, IT Skills, decision making and time management skills Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure and make an impact in this role If you are enthusiastic about delivering an experience that consistently surprises and delights our guests, please apply now.
