We are seeking an enthusiastic Breaks Cover Educator to join our team at Keilor Village Preschool . At Keilor Village Preschool we believe children learn what they live. By ‘playing out’ what they see and experience in the real world, children gain a greater understanding of the world around them. That’s why play-based learning is the foundation of our programs. Our professional and passionate educators have developed programs that encourage children to develop their independence, personalities and ideas while understanding the importance of respect for others. We promote the concepts of tolerance, praise, acceptance, recognition, sharing, fairness, security and friendliness while providing a child-centred play-based program that meets the needs of individual children, their families and our community. Keilor Village Preschool has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard. This is a part time, ongoing position working 10 hours per week on a Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2pm. About you You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member. You have a drive to grow and improve continually. You value kindness and respect. You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC and a first aid certificate. About the role You'll create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues. You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement. Why ECMS?
