The Partnerships and Programs team is looking for a Partnerships Facilitator (Identified) who is passionate, evidence informed and good with people. The role supports schools to improve practices in transitions, connection to culture and inclusion from early years into junior secondary. Who We Are The Darling Downs South West Region is on the western slope of the Great Dividing Range in Queensland and covers an impressive 480,000km2 of land representating a range of First Nations peoples. Our region offers dynamic work environments as well as an affordable and community-oriented lifestyle, with access to essential facilities and diverse experiences for singles and families. Why this Role? The First Nations Partnerships Facilitator Will Manage school and stakeholder relationships that assist in increasing educational outcomes for First Nations students and families transitioning from early years into junior secondary. Implement regional and local strategies and initiatives including undertaking targeted activities and place-based approaches through collaborating with schools and stakeholders. Responsibilities Include Undertake case management and project-based work to support innovations and integrated service delivery in collaboration with other relevant regional staff. Contribute to and support the implementation of strategies that improve transitions, culture and inclusion of First Nations students and families in the region. Prepare statistical reports, submissions, briefs and correspondence concerning regional educational performance data for schools based on the outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Maintain and enhance administrative systems and processes to maximise the effectiveness of services to the region, including information management and reporting systems. Access and analyse information sources such as demographic data, education performance and local qualitative data to inform planning and coordination advice and support.
