The Opportunity At Shine Lawyers, we champion better justice for our clients and as the Settlement Services Team Lead within our Toowoomba office, that starts with you. Within this role, you’ll have the privilege of leading a team of settlements officers as they finalise claims for our deserving clients who have worked tirelessly with their solicitor to seek justice. Our client is at the heart of everything we do, and this role requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, and drive team outcomes so that payment is made to our clients in the shortest possible time frame. With empathy, adaptability and initiative, you will be a true champion of our clients by: Leading and developing a team of settlements officers, to ensure the best outcomes for our clients at the final stage of their claim. Using your communication skills to influence defendants, superannuation funds and other stakeholders to ensure their compliance with terms of settlement. Acting as the escalation point for your team went facing roadblocks that may slow the settlements process. Keep a keen eye across processes and procedures, to identify and implement improvements to enhance client experience and outcomes. Building strong working relationships across all areas of the business to get the best possible outcomes for our clients. What you’ll bring Previous leadership experience with an emphasis on coaching and team development. Experience within a legal or professional services industry (e.g. banking, insurance, superannuation, etc.) is desirable. You’ll use solid written & verbal communication skills to communicate with a wide range of internal & external business partners. You’ll bring a positive mindset focused on supporting those in your team and the greater business. You’ll increase your capability in role by utilising continuous training and development opportunities. The ability to work 38 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm.
