Site Engineer – SSTOM Project (Bradfield / Bringelly / Badgerys Creek) About Us: The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney’s most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line. Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild—is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package. This includes six new stations, a stabling and maintenance facility, rail systems, and a fleet of driverless trains. The Opportunity: Employed under Webuild , we are currently seeking a highly motivated Site Engineer to join our dynamic team working across our Bradfield / Bringelly or Airport Terminal (Badgerys Creek) Station. You will play a vital role in delivering site-based engineering support during the construction and delivery phases of this iconic project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills and contribute to one of Australia’s most innovative transport projects. Key Responsibilities: Support daily site operations by providing engineering input and ensuring construction activities meet project specifications, standards, and safety requirements. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Prepare and review technical documentation including work packs, ITPs, RFIs and NCRs. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records for reporting to senior engineers and project management. Support quality assurance and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Assist in design reviews and liaise with designers, consultants, and the wider delivery team. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Previous experience in a similar role on large-scale infrastructure or rail projects preferred (graduate to mid-level encouraged to apply). Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of construction methodologies and relevant Australian standards. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
