About YOUR new role As Digital & Social Media Lead , you’ll be the strategic and hands-on driver of the organisation’s digital presence. You’ll lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive digital media strategy that elevates brand visibility, strengthens community and stakeholder engagement, and improves digital performance across web and social platforms. You will be responsible for: Designing and delivering a dynamic digital content calendar across channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Managing the corporate website as webmaster, ensuring a seamless, user-centered experience. Overseeing digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, and paid social). Using data insights, analytics, and reputational metrics to inform strategy and refine content. Leading digital communications during incidents or emergencies, including on-call support on a rotating roster. Building internal capability by advising stakeholders on digital best practices and content opportunities. This is a highly collaborative role, working across multiple business units to identify opportunities, shape narratives, and deliver a consistent, high-impact digital voice for the organisation. About YOU You’re a strategic and creative digital communications professional who thrives in fast-paced, service-oriented environments. You’re confident advising at all levels of an organisation and comfortable managing both strategic planning and day-to-day execution. You will bring: A degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in leading social media and digital content strategies within complex organisations or agency environments. Strong capability across content development, analytics, campaign management and user experience (Sitecore experience highly regarded). Demonstrated success managing digital platforms—especially LinkedIn—for brand and reputation building. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business priorities into clear and compelling content. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities. What’s in it for YOU?
