Our client, a well-established, family-owned business with branches throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales is seeking a permanent, full-time Service Technicians for their Toowoomba store. This position is Monday to Friday working between the hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm. As a Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on light or heavy vehicles (depending on your qualification). Experience working on Isuzu, Iveco, Ram Desirable. You’ll also help maintain workshop standards. What’s In It for You: Great hourly rate – Be rewarded for your skills and effort No weekend work – Enjoy your nights and weekends off Job security – Permanent role with a respected and growing company Positive team culture – Friendly, experienced team that works together Professional development – Ongoing training and support Clean, modern workshop – With the tools and tech you need to do your best work Your Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical service and repair tasks as per job cards Diagnose faults and carry out corrective action efficiently Report additional work needed to the Workshop Foreman Document all work clearly (cause, correction, recommendation) Treat every customer vehicle with care and professionalism Supervise and support apprentices as assigned Adhere to safety procedures and proper use of PPE Communicate with the parts department as needed Attend training and meetings as required Keep your workspace clean and organized What You’ll Need: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Great communication and teamwork abilities A proactive, reliable attitude Manual Driver’s Licence (preferred) Commitment to safe work practices and workshop standards The successful candidate will be offered an excellent Annual Salary Bonuses Super in a challenging and rewarding environment.
