To support this vision, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Designer to create high-quality, on-brand design, video, and visual content across digital, print, and campaign platforms. This role produces engaging visual and video content for daily communications and campaigns, ensuring consistent alignment with Canterbury’s brand identity, tone, and messaging across all channels. Responsibilities Include: Design high-quality assets for social media, email, digital campaigns, print publications, and College event collateral. Capture, edit, and produce short-form and promotional video content for social media, campaigns, Open Days, and internal communications. Create animations and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling across Canterbury’s channels. Prepare files for print production and digital publishing, ensuring accuracy and quality. Manage relationships with print suppliers, overseeing the print process and proofing to ensure high-quality, accurate production of college materials. Manage the digital asset library. Contribute to the design and visual presentation of major publications, including the yearbook and College magazine. Proactively suggest creative concepts, layouts, and video opportunities. Key Selection Criteria: Formal Design Qualifications, Advanced Adobe Suite, Canva, After Effects or similar. Experience with Canva and digital design for social media and campaigns. Strong design aesthetic with an excellent eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy. Demonstrated experience in video capture, editing, and post-production for social and promotional content. An entrepreneurial spirit, ability to innovate and imagine new ways of working and make an impact. Essential Qualifications: Current Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain). Formal qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
