Trade Assistant - To Service Technician About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Trade Assistant to a Service Technician responsible for the safe repair and servicing of storage tanks across Sydney and regional locations. This role involves both external and internal tank repairs, installation of factory fittings, liners, and more — all performed with a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service, and repair storage tanks to company and customer specifications Accurately communicate requirements and develop parts lists for each tank Follow company procedures and safe SMR methodology throughout all work Carry out external and internal tank repairs Install factory fittings and liners as required Maintain a clean and tidy tank site throughout the work What We’re Looking For: Sound knowledge and experience using power tools and construction equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions accurately Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality standards Physical fitness to meet the demands of a construction environment Enthusiasm and a strong drive to complete tasks efficiently Must hold the following licenses and certificates: Full Driver’s License White Card Working at Heights Certificate Confined Spaces Certificate Additional Information: Daily travel allowance of $25 Flexible working hours based on site locations Work closely with a supervisor at all times on site If you’re ready to join a dynamic team and take on this hands-on role, apply now!
