Overview Our client is a highly established Canberra-based professional services firm known for its work across federal government and private industry. With a growing IT audit and assurance portfolio, they’re seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join their high-performing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to assess IT systems, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and deliver clear, actionable insights that support business and security improvements. You’ll also play a hands-on role in guiding junior team members and contributing to the growth of the broader IT audit capability. What You'll Be Doing Planning, executing, and reporting on a range of IT audit and assurance engagements Evaluating IT systems and recommending improvements to control frameworks, security, and operational performance Providing clients with meaningful insights aligned to business goals and risk management priorities Coaching junior auditors and supporting team development Staying across emerging technologies and their implications for audit and compliance What We're Looking For Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security standards, and audit frameworks (e.g. COBIT) CISA or relevant certification (CISM/CISSP highly desirable) Background in risk, governance, or compliance within an IT environment Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to hold or obtain an NV1 clearance Why Join?
