Canberra Based Minimum NV1 Security Clearance Length of Contract: 11 months Closing Date: 30th July 2025 Responsibilities: Deliver branch-level commercial support for SSB’s sustainment and acquisition activities. Respond to commercial enquiries and provide advice on procurement matters. Assist with preparation and management of approaches to market. Support tender evaluations and assist in contract development. Ensure compliance with Defence procurement policy and frameworks. Liaise with stakeholders across Defence and industry to support procurement outcomes. Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience in commercial or procurement roles, preferably in a Defence or public sector environment. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence- specific commercial practices. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
