Data Warehouse Developer – 6 Month Contract Role Location: Newcastle. Applicant needs to be locally present or open to relocate for the contract with full working rights. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to design and develop scalable data solutions on Azure. You'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise grade data pipelines, data models, and warehousing solutions that power critical decision making. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and Databricks Implement efficient data modelling techniques (Kimball) to support advanced analytics and reporting Build and manage data pipelines and dataflows optimised for performance and scalability Develop data warehouses tailored for ERP systems, ensuring data quality, integrity, and reliability Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical designs Continuously improve and fine‑tune data architecture to support evolving business needs Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience in data warehouse development with a strong focus on Azure Data Factory and Databricks Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems Experience in data modelling (Kimball or Snowflake) and understanding of best practices in data warehousing Prior experience building data warehouses for ERP systems is highly desirable Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Must be based in Newcastle or willing to work onsite as required Contract Details: 6 month contract with a strong chance to permanency Highly competitive day rate Be part of a collaborative, talented team working on meaningful and industry transforming initiatives Ready to Take the Next Step?
