Attractive hourly pay rate of $ 7 9 /hr super 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week Hybrid work (WFH Maitland or Newcastle) Primary Purpose of the Role: Working with the Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading complex development approval investigations, ensuring compliance with planning approvals, providing expert advice on compliance investigation and post approval projects and audit initiatives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Undertake complex development approval investigation projects relating to approvals for which NSW Planning is the consent authority. Review post approval reports provided by holders of Planning Consents and Approvals. Conduct, follow up actions regarding identified development consent and project approval breaches, and ensure appropriate enforcement action is taken, including initiating legal action where necessary. Provide specialist advice to a range of stakeholders and external agencies on compliance Investigation and post approval projects and audit initiatives. Undertake analysis, review and translation of technical information to provide strategic outcome focused recommendations and advice. Prepare concise reports, orders, briefing notes and other correspondence as required. Participate in business improvement initiatives including the development and maintenance of team systems, policies and business process to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
