With over 30 years of machining experience, JLM work for a number of large companies within the mining, civil, construction and manufacturing industries. ABOUT THE ROLE We're on the lookout for an apprentice to join their team! You could be a beginner that has recently completed a Certificate II in Engineering Pre-apprenticeship, or a current apprentice looking for their next challenge. Key duties may include: Measuring and setting up jobs Machining to tolerances Mig Welding Learn and understanding drawings The ideal candidate: Comfortable to ask questions Good communication skills Excellent work ethic Attention to detail Be able to work individually and in a team Strong focus on safety and quality Ability to perform tasks safely and within tight deadlines without compromising quality Hard-work and can-do attitude Ability to work over time if needed Driver's license and reliable vehicle Pre-apprenticeship (desirable, not essential) If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW!
