We are looking for a Service Technician for a company located in Kalgoorlie, WA 6430. You will be working for a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts. They have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural and oil and gas sectors. * Work hours: Monday – Friday The Service Technician Mechanical Electrical is responsible for the servicing, maintenance and installation of generators and air-conditioning units ancillary power generation equipment as well as supporting the Regional Manager and other staff by carrying out daily both workshop activities andsite servicing, including attending to afterhours enquiries and associated duties as required. WHAT YOU NEED: 3 years experience in mechanical electrical trade Hold a valid 'Energy Safety WA Electricians Licence' Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity and understanding of A/NZS3000 technical manuals and reports. Ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment effectively, with minimum supervision Valid drivers licence Experience with generator fleet from 50kVA to 12500kVA and advantage. Ability to gain mine medical and site entry induction requirements as required. Able to travel to remote areas or other Branches when necessary and for required periods Valid forklift licence is preferred Be available for calls and afterhours duties.
