We are seeking a capable and motivated operator to join a well-run farming business near Dalby, QLD . This is a full-time position , with a strong focus on spraying operations , working across both broadacre and irrigated cropping . Key Duties: This role involves operating spray rigs as the main task, applying chemicals across a variety of cropping programs. You will also be required to operate tractors and implements for general broadacre and irrigation work, including ground preparation, planting, irrigating , and harvesting . Responsibilities include carrying out daily machinery checks , basic servicing , and minor mechanical or welding repairs as needed. During peak periods such as spraying, seeding and harvest , extended hours will be required. Requirements: Previous experience in spraying and broadacre farming is essential. A manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is required. Applicants must have a strong mechanical aptitude , the ability to perform basic welding , and be fit, reliable , and be able to work both independently, and in a team environment. Desirable (not essential): A current ChemCert accreditation. A HC or MC truck licence . What’s on offer: This position offers work with well-maintained John Deere machinery.
