We are seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our team in a full-time Tractor / Spray Rig Operator role. The successful applicant will be working across a mix of broadacre and irrigated farming , operating a variety of John Deere tractors, spray rigs, implements, and other machinery . Key Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining a range of John Deere tractors, spray rigs, implements, and other farm related machinery. Undertaking tasks across broadacre and irrigated cropping operations , including ground preparation, planting, irrigating, spraying, and harvesting Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing , along with minor mechanical and welding repairs on farm machinery Adapting to seasonal workloads with extended hours during peak operational periods Essential Criteria: Prior farming experience is a must A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle Strong mechanical aptitude and welding ability Fit and capable , with a proactive and positive attitude Able to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable: Truck licence (HC or ideally MC) – desirable but not essential ChemCert accreditation Wage will be based on skillset and experience.
