About You: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) Minimum 2 years of experience working as an ECT in a long day care or preschool setting Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF, and child-led learning Demonstrated leadership skills and experience guiding or mentoring a team Excellent communication, planning, and relationship-building abilities Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates Hold fully registered VIT or working towards About the role: Designing and implementing an engaging, play-based curriculum aligned with the EYLF and NQS Taking the lead on planning, documentation, and child development assessments Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn Providing leadership and mentorship to room educators and collaborating closely with the centre leadership team Building strong, respectful relationships with families and supporting their involvement in their child’s learning journey What you'll get: Market-leading salary – we pay above award for the right candidate!
