Position Title: Project Accountant (Temporary Full-Time Contract) Location: Sydney CBD Salary： 45-50 AUD/hour Contract Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension Work Type: Temporary Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our team on a temporary full-time contract , available to start immediately . In this role, you will play a key part in managing project financials, reporting, and compliance. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is essential. Key Responsibilities Oversee and track project budgets, costs, and forecasts Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting Process billing, revenue recognition, accruals, and journal entries Monitor actuals vs budget and prepare variance analysis Maintain accurate project records in SAP S/4HANA Prepare month-end and project-specific financial reports Support internal/external audits and ensure financial compliance Provide financial insight and analysis to support project delivery Key Requirement CPA/CA qualified or part-qualified (preferred) Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is required Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP, and financial reporting Excellent Excel and data analysis skills Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines If you’re interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume directly.
