As a Production and Architecture Consultant (PAC), you will make sure that the customers are accompanied through each phase of the product life cycle (pre-sales, implementation, and support) on issues related to the integration of an enterprise system in the client Management Information System (MIS) environment. You will also participate in the deployment, performance and operability of this platform. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Development division. The ultimate goal is to obtain an effective integration of a capital market enterprise system in terms of technical quality and cost while enabling evolutions. Based in Sydney, you will be performing consulting work to ensure the technical satisfaction of Murex customers in Asia Pacific (APAC) region. You will be responsible for the deployment, performance, reliability, and operability of this platform. In this role you will possess excellent technical skills, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and have good communication. Role Accountabilities: Point of contact for Murex System production and architecture technical issues. Assist clients in sizing, setting up, monitoring and maintaining their infrastructure (hardware and software on which the Murex platform is run). To succeed in this role, you should have: A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering. 1 - 3 years of relevant technical experience. Capital markets software experience (trading, risk management or operations). Prior technical experience with Murex MX.3 platform is a plus. Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, networking Programming skills (C, C++, Java) Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) Knowledge in Cloud technology (AWS, Azure) Curiosity and a strong desire to learn Ability to collaborate and work well in a team Systematic problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal Good organizational skills Desirable Knowledge of multi-threaded programming, design patterns and middleware. Experience in debugging tools such as Valgrind, GDB, BPF, Java profilers such as MAT would be an advantage. DB administration level will be an advantage. Proactive and self-driven.
