A Northern NSW hospital requires Registrar/PHO in Internal Medicine for the following date(s). DATES: • Monday 4th August 2025 until Monday 3rd November 2025 – preferred full cover in the first instance • Dates within this timeframe are considered POSITION DETAILS: • Shared evening shift roster within General Medicine Department with possible cover for day shifts as per roster requirements • Evening shifts 1600-0030 and/or Day shifts 0800-1630 inclusive of half hour unpaid meal break • Ward rounds and handover from Medical/ED Teams • General Medicine ward role able to assess patients in the ED and ward and must be able to initiate first line therapies for such admissions. • Must be able to liaise with he admitting Consultant to formulate a management plan. • Must be able to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families and carers. • Demonstrate ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team • Must act respectfully and professionally with colleagues. REMUNERATION: • $130 per hours worked • No on call requirement • Payment via Health Service payroll ALLOWANCES: • Travel and accommodation covered Heath Service. • Locum Doctor may prefer to drive and are able to claim reimbursement for kilometres for arrival and departure only.
