Job Description A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Planner / Scheduler to join the Maintenance team within the Coal Processing Prep Plant (CHPP) at Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD. Reporting to the Planning Coordinator, you will perform the planning and scheduling of maintenance work for plant and equipment and manage the development of systems to improve efficiency of maintenance processes. This role directly supports Dawson Maintenance to achieve a zero-harm culture through safely operating and maintaining CHPP process to optimise performance. The maintenance planner plans maintenance work for the fixed plant and manages the development of systems to improve the efficiency of the maintenance processes. Your key responsibilities are, not limited to: Coordinate, plan and schedule the maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, parts, and equipment resources to ensure the achievement of planned equipment availability. Develop and maintain plant and equipment schedules in a timely, usable manner and review and report on actual work completed with recommendations for appropriate corrective action. Update and review CMMS regularly to ensure accurate and relevant data is available for component history tracing, failure forecasting, schedule/ preventative maintenance forecasting, budget forecasting and increased equipment availability and tracking costs. Ensure that the work practices and systems within the CHPP Maintenance team are consistent with the Anglo Coal Safety, Health, Environment and Community Management System and any statutory requirements by monitoring and reviewing activities to minimize any negative impact on the environment and minimize the exposure of SHEC related risks to employees. Ensure Dawson Mine meets its statutory and corporate SHEC obligations by and supporting the development of the Anglo Coal Safety, Health, Environment and Community Management System.
