About the Role As the Senior People and Culture Advisor, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to leaders across the organisation, applying your HR expertise to shape positive workplace outcomes and support continuous improvement. This 6 month temporary role (with potential for extension) offers a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities, allowing you to influence cultural change, develop and implement policies, and lead people-focused initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and guiding a People and Culture Officer. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice across a wide range of HR matters including performance, development, and policy implementation; Lead the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures; Manage complex employee matters with confidence, including case management and issue resolution; Partner with leaders and employees to build strong, trusted relationships; Support recruitment, selection, workforce planning, and change management; and Deliver People and Culture projects and contribute to strategic and operational initiatives. About You We’re looking for an experienced and motivated HR professional who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’re someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings a collaborative mindset, and is passionate about building great workplace culture. You will bring: Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end HR services; Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex concepts; A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of integrity; Working knowledge of HR legislation, public sector frameworks, and contemporary HR practices; and Relevant qualifications and/or 4 years’ experience in HR, employee relations or a related discipline.
