This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced plaintiff or defendant insurance solicitor who is looking to take the next step in their career, building a legacy towards legal leadership within the firm. The Responsibilities Competently assist/manage and progress a volume of Personal Injury matters, including but not limited to mainly workers’ compensation, CTP and public liability matters. Draft legal documents in a concise and effective manner. Interpret legal advice to each client's particular case to suit their level of understanding. Be commercially responsible and fiscally aware in relation to running files. Effectively assess claims including liability and quantum. Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations. Take an active role in working with and mentoring junior staff. The Skills Post-admission experience resolving plaintiff or defendant personal injury claims will make your application competitive. Current practising certificate, or the ability to apply for one. Ability to prioritise and multitask, across multiple stakeholders. Experience drafting legal documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Strong relationship building skills and experience working in a team. Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy.
