Optimise Supply Chain & Production Planning for a Leading Apparel Manufacturer in China A leading global apparel manufacturer seeks an experienced Head of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive efficiency across its production and supply chain operations. This role will lead demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management across an extensive supplier network and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in China. The position requires a highly analytical and results-driven leader who can align sales forecasts, production capacity, and inventory strategies to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced, competitive industry. Extensive t ravel is required to manufacturing sites and supplier locations. Key Responsibilities Lead S&OP Strategy – Align demand planning, supply capabilities, and inventory targets Production & Inventory Optimization – Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and cost efficiency. Cross-Functional Coordination – Work closely with Sales, Finance, Production, and Supply Chain teams. Data-Driven Decision-Making – Analyze factory utilization, forecasting accuracy, and key performance metrics. Process & Technology Improvements – Implement digital tools, ERP systems, and process enhancements. Qualifications & Skills Required 10 years in S&OP, demand forecasting, and inventory management within garment manufacturing. 5 years in a leadership role with proven strategic planning expertise. Experience in sportswear, athleisure, or outdoor apparel industries (preferred). Strong ERP, Excel, and Power BI skills – data-driven mindset.
