Role Overview We’re seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant Tennis Coach to join our growing team. The successful candidate will deliver a range of services including junior and adult group lessons, private coaching, cardio tennis, pickleball, social match play sessions, and assist at club events and tournaments. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality coaching for juniors, adults, private lessons, and cardio tennis. Assist in planning and follow structured lesson plans and contribute to coaching frameworks. Support holiday clinics, competitions, and social tennis events. Engage with players and families to build a welcoming, positive tennis environment. Maintain professional standards of conduct, presentation, and court etiquette. ✅ Skills & Experience Minimum Tennis Australia Development preferred (or willing to complete). Previous experience coaching juniors and/or adults, is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain) Working With Children Check (Blue Card) . Personal Qualities We Value Hard-working, reliable, and professional. Hours & Salary Starting at 10 – 15 hours per week with the opportunity to grow to part-time or full-time. Salary ($25 – $50 per hour ) is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Includes before & after school, evening, and weekend work. Additional Requirements Own reliable transport. Ability to work across multiple Sunshine Coast venues. Willingness to assist at tournaments, events, and social functions.
