Fitter (Crusher) Applicants for this role must hold a nationally recognised Fitter Trade Certificate, and 5 years' experience in a similar role (with minimum 3 years experience working on Metso cone crushers). Duties and responsibilities include: Read and understand OEM Maintenance Manuals and Schematic Diagrams Read and correctly interpret OEM Part Manuals Prepare adequate and suitable tooling for the task Effective and safe use of hand and power tools Installation/Removal of Crusher Liners in accordance with OEM Maintenance Manual Installation/Removal of Screen Cloths in accordance with the OEM Maintenance Manual Replace and rebuild bearings and gearboxes on plant (e.g. Conveyors, Crushers, Screens, etc.) Servicing and Fault find problems on Crushers, Screens, Conveyors and Hydraulic Packs Prepare plant for transport (Conveyors, Track Plant, etc.) Oxy Cut/Gouge and Notch Perform basic welding techniques (non-structural) Applicants will : Have great communication skills, both written and verbal Positively contribute within a team to achieve set goals and targets Help create a work environment that embraces and appreciates diversity Adhere to all workplace and trade safety requirements consistent with your level of authority Wear and maintain company PPE in a safe and appropriate manner Manage your own time, priorities and resources to achieve desired outcomes The successful applicants will be offered a salary between $76,515 - $110,000.
