Male Disability Support Worker – Outdoor & Hands-On Role (Teen Client) Location: Lara Hours: 2 - 3 Weekdays (flexible), Saturday – 11:00am to 2:00pm We’re looking for an experienced MALE Disability Support Worker to support a vibrant 16-year-old boy with a passion for the outdoors, trains, robotics, and mechanics. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a consistent and meaningful connection while helping a young person grow and engage with his community. About the Client This teen is active, curious, and happiest outdoors or tinkering with machines. His interests include: Gardening, hiking, and weekend barbecues Trains – spotting them, taking photos, and enjoying scenic rides Robotics and mechanics – especially working on projects with his 3D printer Who We’re Looking For: Calm, practical, and good with routines Experienced with behaviours of concern and confident following a Behaviour Support Plan A steady, reliable influence who enjoys hands-on work and open-air activities Your Certificates and Licences NDIS workers screening check Working with children check First aid and CPR certificate Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent Australian drivers license and your own fully insured vehicle Pay Rates SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (Includes casual loading): Base hourly rate: $43.23 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $47.55 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $48.41 Saturday: $60.52 Sunday: $77.81 Public holiday: $95.10 Workplace diversity is highly valued at The Nextt Group, and we recognize a diverse workforce is beneficial for our employees and our clients.
