We are currently seeking experienced Intermediate or Advanced Riggers to join our team at our Welshpool workshop. These roles are available on a full-time or casual basis and offer consistent day shift work from Monday to Friday. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in safely supporting workshop operations by executing lifting and rigging tasks in coordination with fabrication and mechanical teams. This hands-on position is key to ensuring safe and timely project delivery in a controlled environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out rigging tasks including lifting, positioning, and relocating heavy components Inspect, select, and use appropriate lifting equipment and gear Support boilermakers, fitters, and other trades with load handling and movements Follow workshop procedures, lift plans, and all safety standards Assist in maintaining a safe and organised workspace Qualifications, Skills & Experience Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence Forklift High Risk Work Licence – required Working at Heights (within 2 years) – required Confined Space Entry (within 2 years) – required Construction White Card Experience in a workshop, fabrication, or mechanical assembly environment Ability to interpret lift plans and follow instructions precisely Commitment to safety, communication, and teamwork What We Offer Immediate start available Monday to Friday, day shift – workshop-based Positive team culture in a WA-owned company Clean, modern, and safety-driven environment Long-term career opportunities and upskilling As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to complete pre-employment screening, including but not limited to a medical, Drug & Alcohol screen, and working rights check.
