The Salvation Army Brisbane Recovery Services at Red Hill provides vital support to individuals who have experienced challenges with drugs and alcohol. We as an 80-bed residential rehabilitation facility offering person-centered and trauma-informed care to assist participants in their recovery journey. We are currently seeking volunteer drivers to assist in transporting participants to appointments from Monday-Friday. There are also opportunities to support the service by assisting with the collection and delivery of food. As well as assisting in transporting participants to Church services on the weekends. Our drivers play a crucial role in meeting the needs of our participants and in support of our service. We have a need for two volunteer driver services 1.Food Collection Driver provides support to Brisbane Recovery Service in collecting/ delivery of food and other essential items. 2.Bus Driver has a key role by providing an easy way for our participants to get to appointments or build community in assisting in attendance transport to Church Services at North Brisbane Corps. Background checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation. Where an applicant has disclosable history, the selection process includes a fair assessment and a risk management approach. Collection of personal information is handled per our privacy and confidentiality policies.
