Contract Opportunity – AML Operations - Financial Crime Advisory - FinTech - Immediate Start We're working with a growing FinTech client that is looking to bring on a Financial Crime specialist with a strong background in AML operations/ management and advisory to support the Compliance Manager in implementing new processes and strengthening the business’s financial crime function. This is a 3–6 month initial contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role, offered on a contract basis initially due to the urgency of the need. Role Highlights: Work closely with the Compliance Manager to design and implement financial crime processes and controls in line with the company’s rapid growth Provide input across both first and second lines of defence, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF obligations while supporting commercial and operational teams Contribute to the uplift of AML/CTF policies, risk assessments, and monitoring frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-impact FinTech environment What We're Looking For: Proven experience in financial crime compliance and AML operations, ideally within financial services or FinTech Strong understanding of the first and second lines of defence and how they interact within a compliance framework Familiarity with the Australian AML/CTF regime and AUSTRAC reporting requirements A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, able to balance compliance priorities with business needs
