We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to support end-to-end financial operations for our client based in Sydney CBD. You’ll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, and technical accounting, while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate and timely month-end close , journals, and reconciliations Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with AASB standards Support tax compliance (IAS, BAS, FBT, income tax) across the group Maintain ledger accuracy through thorough reconciliations Oversee CAPEX tracking , fixed asset capitalisation, and reporting Contribute to cashflow management and treasury reporting Partner in internal/external audits , risk controls, and compliance Drive process improvement , automation, and data integrity Administer key finance systems (MS Dynamics, Power BI, Excel) Collaborate with and mentor junior team members, contributing to a positive team culture About You CA/CPA qualified with strong experience in financial or management accounting Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (AASB, IFRS) Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Excel and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Jet Reports) Experience with MS Dynamics is highly valued Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Experience in the retail sector is a bonus Ready to take ownership and make an impact?
