Your Role: Deliver assessments and therapy for children with a range of developmental needs, including ASD, dyspraxia, and intellectual disability. Work in both clinic and community settings , offering services in one-on-one or small group formats. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists, Music Therapists, and Educators. Utilise telehealth and face-to-face sessions to provide flexible care tailored to client needs. Create personalised, goal-driven therapy plans that support children and families through all stages of development. Maintain clinical records and reporting , with time set aside in your schedule for admin and planning. Participate in regular supervision, mentoring, and case discussions to support professional development. Engage in weekly team wellbeing activities that help foster a positive and supportive work culture. Use provided resources and tech tools such as laptops, iPads, and shared therapy materials to enhance service delivery. Relevant professional qualifications and registration ( AHPRA ) Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs. Strong communication skills , both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients, families, and the team. Empathy and patience to build rapport with children and families facing complex challenges. Creative and flexible thinking to adapt therapy approaches to individual client needs. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, balancing clinical and administrative tasks. Team player mentality , willing to collaborate and contribute to a supportive work environment. Proactive attitude towards professional development and continuous learning. Current working with children checks, police clearance, and other required certifications such as first aid and professional indemnity insurance.
