Project Logistics Specialist Location: Perth, Western Australia Duration: Ongoing Contract Start Date: ASAP Work Arrangement: On-site Zenith Energy is seeking a Project Logistics Specialist to support one of our key clients in the delivery of a major project. This is a dynamic and hands-on role where you will take ownership of the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of project logistics activities across multiple work fronts. This contract role will suit a seasoned logistics professional with experience working in high-performance project environments, ideally in the oil and gas sector. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Strategy Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy that aligns with the overall project schedule and objectives. Build detailed logistics budgets covering transport, warehousing, people movement, and material supply. Coordination & Communication Act as the primary logistics contact for the project—liaising with internal project teams, Client SMEs, external vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless execution. Integrate logistics timelines with the broader project plan. Resource & Risk Management Plan for procurement, allocation, and coordination of critical logistics resources (materials, equipment, people). Identify potential logistical risks and develop robust mitigation and contingency strategies. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all logistics operations are compliant with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for reporting and review. Performance & Improvement Monitor logistics performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement across operations, systems, and processes. Leverage technology and tools to enhance efficiency and visibility of logistics activities. Team Leadership Provide leadership and direction to logistics SMEs involved in the planning and execution phase. Foster a high-performance culture across the logistics team. About You: We’re looking for an experienced professional who brings: A strong track record in project logistics across complex, multidisciplinary projects. Deep understanding of supply chain, transport (including marine and remote), warehousing, and people logistics. Exceptional coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong planning, budgeting, and risk management capability. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and interface with client-side SMEs. Experience with logistics systems, reporting tools, and compliance frameworks. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
