This is a full-time, permanent role that contributes to enterprise-wide data science initiatives and plays a critical role in driving business outcomes through data-driven insight and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of the bank’s comprehensive Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) model , ensuring alignment with strategic goals and risk frameworks. Use the model to assess customer profitability and support pricing, funding, and risk decisions. Design and maintain AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to support internal functions such as supplier onboarding and contract management. Ensure these AI solutions comply with internal risk, compliance, and AI governance standards. Lead the development and validation of predictive models , machine learning algorithms , and GenAI solutions . Work with business stakeholders to translate strategic needs into data science projects and deliver practical outcomes. Conduct exploratory data analysis, prepare datasets for modelling, and ensure data integrity. Document and map business processes and data flows, identifying risks and controls. Design and implement data pipelines and participate in model deployment and MLOps practices. Produce visualisations and reports using Power BI or similar tools to communicate findings clearly. Handle ad hoc analytical requests and assist in continuous improvement across the data lifecycle. Stay up to date with developments in data science techniques, tools, and industry standards . What You’ll Bring: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science , Computer Science , Statistics , or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree is desirable. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Python or R , and familiarity with SQL and data visualisation tools. Strong understanding of statistics , machine learning , probability , and linear algebra . Knowledge of cloud-based data environments and experience in MLOps or model deployment pipelines. Experience working with stakeholders to define business problems and deliver practical data solutions. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a role requiring structured data analysis and business collaboration. Industry experience in financial services or another regulated sector is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
