The Principal Program Officer is responsible for leading a team to manage, monitor and review projects, programs, and systems which directly support the implementation of government priorities and programs across employment and training. About the role As the Principal Program Officer, you will: Lead a team to manage, monitor and review projects, programs and systems that directly support the implementation of government priorities. You will also support collaboration with industry and community stakeholders and focus on training outcomes and pathways linked to employment. Develop, implement, and monitor a range of operational policies and practices hat promote best practice across departmental operations, including program delivery, stakeholder engagement and events. Carry out performance reporting and analysis using contemporary recording and reporting frameworks to guide strategic decisions, resource management and local planning.
